    A more visible window in the tool bar that displays the height of any selected track and wanting of if it's insertion will effect adjacent tracks would prevent errors and save tedious regrading and height readjustments.

    In maintenance update 6.4.27 the Close Gap with Tracks assistant has been improved to avoid displaying duplicate combinations, show better progress information while searching for connections, offer enhanced settings for customizing the function, and to accelerate connection finding.

    1. Drag pointer across gap to select.
    2. Fit with the fewest largest pieces available.
    3 Show alternatives to select from.
    4. Add a force fit feature to close small gaps that the actual track tolerates.
