Create a comment for a grouped object.
At times, I create several objects and group them together. You can no longer add a comment to the object.

You are of course right - I was referring to how groups are represented in our app.
The names of objects can always be shown or hidden regardless of whether they are grouped or not.
Hope this helps!

A groups objected is not abstract. If I create a car paint shop out of a long rectangle (and name it) and then create several round and square objects next to it to represent tanks and dust collectors (and name those) then group them all together because they need to move as a group, then:
The newly created object has no name.
You can't see the names of the objects that make it up unless you ungroup it and then group it back together when done.
And although you call this new grouped object abstract, you still show measurements and placement other info in the info window. -
A group of objects is a fairly abstract concept of a collection of objects that can only be selected as a whole.
Comments can still be applied to individual objects by dissolving the group, adding comments, or optionally a text object and regrouping.
