The ability to select printed pages from an entire view of the layout
I like the ability to print selected pages from the sidebar option. What I would like is instead of having to scroll though many many pages to select what to print, would be a view of the layout with the numbered pages shown in one view. So one could see the entire layout, in a reduced form, and select the pages to print by just clicking on them. To me a much easier way to print just the pieces needed with out having to scroll through them.

Flat Design Capability for Layout with Multiple Decks
I added the following description to another 2018 request that's similar; I think this approach could solve multiple requests/issues.
I've been think of something similar while designing a three deck layout with multiple helixes in between. As opposed to each of the three layers "stacked" which causes issues as the current version only allows for 1 0-level Baseboard and I need 3 different shapes. What about setting "anchors" at the ends of transition tracks, that could only be modified with very deliberate unlock and warning. These anchors would connect the ends of two tracks, each on different decks/layers that are…

Change Origin (0/0) to e.g. Benchwork/Room "0"
We need the ability to set (0) zero on the rulers to match the corner of the room or benchwork to align the rulers measurements with the benchwork so that zero on the canvas is zero on the benchwork.

Ability to Rotate View in 2D Mode
I'd love to be able to rotate my view when working in 2D mode. Currently I am working on a very large club layout and a portion of it runs at a 36° angle to most of the layout. While working on this section, I'd like to be able to rotate my view to make this easier. I do not want to rotate all tracks or the canvas as everything is precisely positioned, what I really need is to just change the angle at which I am viewing it.

Draggable help lines (Guides)
Add help lines that can be pulled out of the rulers. The help lines may be sticky. Very common in CAD programs.

Display messages in floating bubbles
Display messages in floating bubbles instead of in the status bar. It took me a while to discover that something was there.
On errors, remove the 'flying-in' effect. Feels very old fashioned.1 voteNot planned.

Active track library needs to follow the selected layout
If I was designing an N-scale Kato layout, but then wanted (as an example) open an N-scale that uses Atlas, I would like the active track library on the left to reflect Atlas and not still be on Kato. Or quit the app, then later open a community layout that uses (example) HO Marklin C, the active track library on the left needs to be Marklin C, or whatever library the respective layout uses and not be stuck on the last library the was being used.

Size the room the layout is going into
I want to be able to draw and lock in the exact size of the room before building the layout so I know the size of the layout and how much space it eats up relative to what else I have in the room. It is extremely important when designing a layout to know how big it is in the room you have.
1 votePlease use the existing functionality to specify canvas size and baseboards as well as the graphical shapes.

Larger font and more bold
On my 32" screen, the information about the selected track is in very small font and in a greyscale that makes it hard to read.
Use of a larger font throughout the app would enhance the readability. Maybe configurable?

Tools menu
The Tools should be presented as a menu "Tools" (as well). Many of the functions could probably find a place in the context menu also.
It feels a bit of "the wrong way around" to first have to select a tool, and then the element to work on. I selected an element first, then clicked a tool, and nothing happened. To make a comparison with a text editor: you first select the text, then click 'Bold', and not the other way around. Of course, if Bold is active, all new text becomes bold as well. Also, indicate clearly which tool…

library model for Z-Maerkling 8561/8564, thanks in advance!
new model or modification possibilities from another part to create a model for the part 8561.
1 voteThanks - Track libraries are updated continuously. Track libraries are tracked internally as we depend on external sources (vendors) not under our control.

Delete on the context menu delete entire selection
Currently only deletes the last selected item
1 voteThis is correct.
The context menu works on the current context.
It is completely independent from any selection.

Duplicate entire selection
Duplicate should copy and paste the entire selection. I'm only getting the last section of track selected.
1 voteI cannot replicate the issue -
Edit > Duplicate does duplicate the entire selection as to my testing.
There might be some confusion here what the context menu is and how it works - it operates on the context (element), NOT any selection.

Sticky Comments attached to Elements or Locations
There are existing notes and comments boxes attached to the Layout Plan as a whole and visible under the Document Tab.
What I would like to see are pop-up notes/comments that can be attached to individual elements and/or to x,y locations on layouts.
Notes like the ones most Word Processors let you attach to words or phrases in texts and which most Spreadsheets let you attach to cells in sheets by right-clicking and choosing insert comment.

Save/restore selections like PhotoShop, Affinity
..for complex selections like track segments or other ranges of tracks it would be handy to store a selection of tracks to restore it a while later while editing other things or switching (or hiding or locking) a layer in a complex layout.
Other advanced tools like Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop and Affinity Designer or Photo make this possible with a “Select” –> “Save Selection” function.

Side-view of y-axis
It would help for l-shaped layouts to have a side-view not only for x-axis, but also for y-axis. It could be placed e.g. on the left side of the main screen.

[SHOW LESS] Community Layout - Lego, Carrera
Many new items in community layouts are for carrera slot car or lego. I am interested only in railway plans.
Twitter has a SHOW LESS button to tell it not to show tweets for some topic. Proposal: Have a SHOW LESS button for slot car or lego!
