It almost worked for me just using the Railset Editor.
I draw the modules with polygon shapes. Then I set up the tracks and arranged the track connector at the edges of the module.
So a module behaves just like a single piece of track in RRM.
Only building the layout on the module in RS editor is more work then in RRM.
Maybe it is not so hard if we can do the following in RS editor:
Copy 'bundled' components of an element into another element.
That means you can build an element out of existing elements track pieces (other elements as tracks, switches)
