A way to force two tracks to connect [Lower Precision, Higher Tolerance]
Two tracks can be very close but not connected. I would like to be able to select both tracks and ask them to be connected. This should be extended to a whole selection. Sometimes selecting adjacent tracks the mouse moves slightly and a small disconnection appears somewhere. It is very difficult to find it. I would like to be able to select all tracks and say "connect"

A dedicated function to connect all tracks in the selection and appending each track to its closest neighboring track could be added in the future

The two »track threads« belong together: scalable precision tolerance. So the votes go together also, right?

Some related improvements I'd like to see:
1. Select two elements and give a way to see the difference in location (X, Y, Angular mismatch) of the their closest endpoints. This would help one in figuring out what alternatives might produce a better fitting geometry, or at least allowing one to more easily decide whether the gap is material, fudge-able, or likely rounding error.
2. Highlight two elements which are reasonably close to each other, but for some reason are still marked as disconnected. Mark them as force-connected (without moving them so as to create other new disconnections).
3. Make it so that changes to the tolerances setting affect all existing elements immediately. It shouldn't be necessary to move an element for the new tolerance setting to take effect.

Quick update: We'll plan to add a 'force connect' function to the app soon once our major update 6.0 has been released to the public later this year or early 2018!

Version 5.0.11 also re-introduces an option to highlight tracks that are not connected

Version 5.0.11 introduces preferences for track tolerances.
This (optionally) allows tracks to be recognized as connected even if they don't perfectly align.
