Select all adjacent tracks of the same colour
Being able to select all the adjacent tracks of the same colour, rather than all the tracks of that colour on the whole plan or layer, would make it easier to correct the colour of subsections of the layout without having to disconnect that section, colour it, then reconnect it.

No. Consider a case where you want to colour all the tracks on a siding. Right now, you have to remove the switch, select all connected tracks in that siding, colour them, and then put the switch back. With "select adjacent tracks of this colour", you could colour the track connected to the switch, then select all the tracks after that one of the same colour, then colour them the same as that track.
It gets even worse when you have already coloured part of a yard, say, and want to colour a different part. It's all deeply connected, but you just want to change one part of the yard to a different colour, without selecting all the tracks of that colour across the whole layout.

I suppose the ‘select same color’ command isn’t specific enough for this use case?
