The upcoming update to version 6.3.8 improves clipboard support for baseboards
I would agree that coordinate input perhaps like you would in an Excel document could much improve placement of corners where you know how the base plate should look in advance
..naming a baseplate would be useful, too!
Rotating baseboards, turning off all dimensions for baseboards added for update 6.1
Hello Karl - the idea of the wizard is to provide starting points for commonly used baseplates. You can simply create the U-baseboard and edit the border lengths or corner points of one leg to change it to the desired dimensions!
Hope this helps.

I'm not sure, whether this idea is covered by the following request: the U-Baseplate ought to have the possibility to have different leghts of U-legs. My layout asks for this. I can not use the baseplate-feature without this.
Better support for editing baseboards is planned!
The contextual menu already offers some options for editing baseboards (when the baseboard layer is active) like ordering baseboards to back/front or duplicating baseboards.
