height adjustments
Height adjustments are a pain in the ass. Start over. Make them intuitive. One adjustment to close gaps should not wipe out an entire grade or reset the height of an entire layer. Come on, you can do better than this, every other program does already.

RailModeller Pro 6.0.4 introduces the "Shift Tracks Up/Down" functionality to adjust track heights for an arbitrary selection of track elements whilst keeping the grades.

The interactive height adjustment tool is scheduled for a v6.x update in early 2018

Absolutely - multiple tracks should be easy to adjust in height no matter how they're connected. The planned 'Change Height' tool is supposed to address this (in the coming weeks).

My workflow often includes creating the layout and then start to fine tune and change height where needed. I know this is not as designed but what happens is that I get the "Selection consists of multiple track sections" message when trying to change, for example, a small station are that consists of a couple of switches. Would be great if a whole section could be changed independent on how they are connected.

a new tool to simply push/pull a track to adjust its (+ connected tracks) height while keeping grades could make track height adjustments less tedious. -

A more visible window in the tool bar that displays the height of any selected track and wanting of if it's insertion will effect adjacent tracks would prevent errors and save tedious regrading and height readjustments.

An universal height control on the tool bar would help.

Thanks for the feedback -
could you name some of the other programs you've mentioned so we can have a look? Cheers!
