Able to use on an iPad (track planning on tablet)
Unfortunately with low interest in a fully featured track planning app for iPad and very low app prices there’s no viable market for a dedicated iPad app.

Sadly, if even Panic (repeatedly!) cannot manage to generate profit in this environment with their terrific iOS apps (https://panic.com/blog/the-future-of-code-editor/) there's
a) something wrong with the market for apps on iPad, and
b) no chance in hell for a niche app like ours to succeed on iPadOS.. -

Just to follow up on this, is there any chance of seeing even a greatly simplified iPad version? I'd take any functionality I could get, even if it's just the ability to view a vectorized version of a desktop created layout, maybe move around existing track pieces, or even just a way to add labels to an existing layout.
As someone who's replaced a laptop with an iPad Pro, this would be huge.

Just want to voice my support once again for this. Understand the economics of it are tough, but you've got at least one person who would gladly pay the equivalent of the mac app store price or higher.
-
Not viable with current app store prices and the economic realities of what it costs to develop an iOS version of our app.
-
A full-fledged model railroad layout editor is put on hold for now as we cannot justify the investment for building a decent app with regards to the incredibly low prices iPad app are sold for these days.
Even major players are struggling with issue
(https://www.panic.com/blog/the-2014-panic-report/)So for our tiny company it would be suicidal..
